Man Killed in North Kashmir Road Mishap | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A man lost his life in a tragic road accident after the vehicle he was travelling in plunged into a stream near the Chandoosa area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Mir, son of Bashir Ahmad Mir, a resident of Qazi Hamam, Baramulla, according to reports.

Officials said the accident occurred while he was travelling from Gulmarg towards Baramulla. The vehicle reportedly skidded off the road and fell into a nearby stream near Chandoosa.

Locals and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby medical facility. However, Ishfaq Ahmad Mir succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. (JKNS)
