Need full disclosure, exemplary punishment in rotten meat seizure: Er Aijaz

Srinagar, Aug 13: Senior BJP Leader and DDC Member, Er. Aijaz Hussain, has raised strong objections to the reported supply of rotten and unhygienic meat from outside Jammu & Kashmir, urging the Government to act with full transparency and urgency.

He demanded that the authorities release a detailed list of all persons and suppliers involved, along with the names of hotels and restaurants that were using such meat. “It is equally important to acknowledge that some good restaurants may not have used this meat at all.

A transparent and honest report must be published to clearly inform the public and protect the reputation of genuine businesses,” he said. Calling for strong deterrence, he urged exemplary punishment for all those involved in the scandal.
