SRINAGAR: The administration in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district has suspended Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Boniyar, Abdul Rehman Lone, with immediate effect over allegations of gross negligence, unsatisfactory performance, and failure to submit the required action plan.
According to an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, the suspension will remain in place pending the initiation of formal disciplinary proceedings against the officer.
The order further states that during the suspension period, the officer shall remain attached to the office of the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla until further instructions are issued.
