JK Bank FC clinch Srinagar Premier Division Football League title

Srinagar, May 10: JK Bank FC emerged as champions of the Srinagar Premier Division Football League 2025-26 after registering a convincing 2-0 victory over JK Police XI in the final league fixture played at TRC Synthetic Turf on Sunday.

With this impressive win, JK Bank FC, as per a DFA statement, secured the 1st position in the league standings and lifted the prestigious title. Kashmir Elegant FC finished as runners-up, claiming the 2nd position, while JK Police XI ended their campaign in 3rd place.

The match witnessed high-intensity football as JK Bank FC displayed outstanding teamwork, discipline, and attacking football to seal the championship in style. Both teams were appreciated for their sportsmanship and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.

The closing ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Nuzhat Gul, Secretary of J&K Sports Council, who congratulated the participating teams and appreciated DFA Srinagar for successfully organising the league. She also praised the efforts being made to promote football talent across the valley.
