Srinagar: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq on Wednesday paid glowing tributes to Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA) on his martyrdom anniversary, saying his life remains a timeless example of courage, justice, wisdom and unwavering devotion to Allah.
Delivering a sermon at Aastane Aliya Dastgeer Sahib in Sarai Bala here, the Mirwaiz described Hazrat Ali (RA), the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the fourth Caliph of Islam, as one of the most distinguished personalities in Islamic history whose teachings continue to guide the Muslim Ummah.
