Jammu Kashmir: Rusted Mortar Shell Found Near Residential House | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An old, rusted live mortar shell was found near a residential house in Bandi Chechian area of Poonch district of Jammu Kashmir on Saturday officials said.

Official sources said that the mortar shell was spotted around evening hours near the house Ward No. 5, Mohalla Chirawali, Tehsil Haveli.

Upon receiving the information, the Army authorities were immediately informed for further action. Further necessary steps for the safe disposal of the shell are being taken they added. (KNC)
