Health Minister Visits Ailing Father of MP Engineer Rashid at SMHS Hospital

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo on Sunday visited SMHS Hospital to inquire about the health condition of the ailing father of Member of Parliament Sheikh Abdul Rashid.

During the visit, the Minister met the attending doctors and medical staff and received a detailed briefing regarding the patient’s condition, treatment plan and progress in recovery.

She directed the authorities of Government Medical College Srinagar and SMHS Hospital to ensure the best possible medical care and provide all required facilities and specialised treatment without delay.

Sakeena Itoo also instructed the medical team to maintain constant supervision of the patient and ensure comprehensive care through experienced specialists.

She later interacted with the family members, conveyed her concern and assured them of full support from the Health Department. The Minister also prayed for the patient’s speedy recovery and appreciated the dedication of the healthcare professionals attending him.

MLA Hazratbal Salman Sagar, senior officials, doctors and hospital staff were also present on the occasion.
