Vacancy Details of CSIR IIIM Jammu Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria of CSIR IIIM Jammu Vacancies

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have a first-class postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology or Zoology from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having research experience or knowledge in cell culture, molecular biology, and animal handling techniques.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India rules.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive the following monthly stipend:

i) ₹31,000 + HRA for candidates who have qualified NET/GATE or other national-level examinations. OR
ii) ₹25,000 + HRA for candidates who do not fall under the above category.

HRA will be provided only if institutional accommodation is not available.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on interview performance. If required, a written test may be conducted for screening candidates before the interview.

The interview will be conducted online through MS Teams.

Project Duration

The appointment will initially be for one year or until the project duration, whichever is earlier. The current project duration is up to 19 February 2027.

The tenure may be extended or reduced depending on project requirements and performance of the selected candidate.
