Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), a premier research laboratory under Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. DLRL/HRD/PINT/2026/01 inviting applications for paid internship positions.

The internship is offered to final-year B.E/B.Tech students in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. The duration of the internship is six months starting tentatively from 1 July 2026. Interested candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format before the last date 15 May 2026.

Internship Duration

The internship will be conducted for:

• Total Duration: 6 Months
• Tentative Start Date: 01 July 2026
• Minimum Attendance Requirement: 15 days per month

Students who do not complete the full internship duration will not receive the internship certificate.

Stipend Details

Selected candidates will receive a stipend as follows:

Stipend payment is subject to minimum attendance requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Must be in final year B.E/B.Tech during academic year 2026–2027
• Must belong to ECE, CSE, or Mechanical Engineering disciplines
• Students with backlogs are not eligible
• Must have good academic performance

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on:

1. Merit based on cumulative marks or CGPA obtained up to 3rd year 1st semester
2. Interview or interaction (if required)
3. Date of Birth preference in case of tie (elder candidate preferred)

3. Bonafide Certificate
4. Marks Sheets (up to 3rd Year 1st Semester)
5. Referral or Sponsorship Letter from College

7. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Principal (after selection)
8. Police Verification Certificate (after selection)

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
