Former VC DDC Kupwara visits Lolab villages, takes stock of public issues

Kupwara: President District Congress Committee Kupwara and former Vice Chairman District Development Council Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir, on Tuesday visited several villages in Lolab Valley to assess local issues and interact with residents.

He toured Kawari, Harden, Warnow, Wawoora, Gagal, Maidanpora, and Cheepora, where he met locals and listened to concerns related to infrastructure, public services, and other civic problems. Delegations from different areas highlighted various grievances affecting daily life.

Mir assured that the issues raised would be taken up with the concerned authorities for early redressal. He said he remains committed to maintaining direct contact with the people and ensuring their concerns are addressed at the administrative level.

During the visit, he also met bereaved families and expressed solidarity with them.

Mir on the eve reiterated his commitment to the overall development and welfare of the Lolab region.
