Unexploded Grenade Found in Jammu Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An old and rusted grenade was spotted on Sunday in the Dharyalla forest area of Nowshera sector in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

Official sources said that, a resident of Dharyalla noticed the explosive while he had gone to the forest area along with other locals for grass cutting.

The matter was immediately reported to the local Army and police, following which troops rushed to the spot and took the grenade into safe custody.

They said the grenade is likely to be defused or destroyed tomorrow as per standard operating procedure. (KNC)
