Old, Rusted Mortar Shells Recovered in North Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Old, rusted mortar shells were recovered on Saturday during ongoing construction work at Marajpora Bridge in the Sopore area of Baramulla district in North Kashmir.

An official said that the shells were found while digging near the river bund on the Magraypora side of the bridge.

Following the recovery, police rushed to the spot and secured the area as a precautionary measure.

Further investigation is underway and more details are awaited. (KNC)
