Eligibility Criteria of UPSC Vacancies

Post	Educational Qualification	Age Limit
Anthropologist (Cultural Anthropology Division)	Master’s degree in Anthropology with more than fifty percent papers in Cultural Anthropology in final year examination and three years research experience in Anthropology	38 years for OBC candidates
Anthropologist (Physical Anthropology Division)	Master’s degree in Anthropology with more than fifty percent papers in Physical Anthropology or Biological Anthropology in final year examination and three years research experience in Anthropology	35 years for UR candidates

Pay Scale Details

Selected candidates will be placed in Level 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
