Vacancy Details of SKUAST Kashmir Recruitment 2026

SKUAST Kashmir is filling up posts of Associate Professor-cum-Senior Scientist across various Faculties/ Colleges/Stations of the University.

Application Fee

Fee can be paid through Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card only.

Eligibility Criteria of SKUAST Kashmir Associate Professor Vacancies

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Ph.D Degree in the concerned discipline.
• Master Degree with at least 55 percent marks in the concerned discipline or equivalent grade.
• Minimum eight years of teaching or research or extension experience in academic or research position equivalent to Assistant Professor or Junior Scientist.
• Minimum seven publications in NAAS rated or Peer-reviewed or UGC listed journals.
• Total research score of seventy five as per prescribed criteria.

Age Limit

Upper age limit is relaxable for candidates already in employment of SKUAST Kashmir.

Selection Process

Selection shall be based on:

• Academic, Research and Extension Score (80 percent weightage)
• Interview (20 percent weightage)

Mode of Application

Candidates must apply through online mode only using the University website skuastkashmir.ac.in.

After filling the online application form, candidates must take printout and submit the hard copy along with required documents to Registrar, SKUAST-K, Shalimar, Srinagar by the prescribed last date.
