Live Shell Recovered by SOG During Operation in Jammu Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A live shell was recovered by the Special Operations Group (SOG) Samba during an operation in the Ramgarh area of Samba district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday.

Official sources said the live shell was found in the Koulpur Devak area, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramgarh, in the morning hours.

Following the recovery, a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team was immediately rushed to the spot to examine and safely dispose of the explosive material.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further necessary proceedings are underway. (JKNS)
