SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) on Sunday conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for BSc Nursing, BSc Paramedical, and BSc Technology courses for the academic session 2026–27 across the Union Territory.

The examination was held at 48 centres, including 37 in Kashmir division and 11 in Jammu division. Of the 26,237 registered candidates, 25,090 appeared, recording an attendance of 95.6 per cent.

Officials said the test was conducted smoothly under the supervision of BOPEE Chairperson Prof. Minu Mahajan. Adequate arrangements were made in coordination with educational institutions and law enforcement agencies to ensure the orderly conduct of the examination.

The Chairperson, along with members, the Secretary, and the Controller of Examinations, monitored the process from Srinagar and Jammu. The Board expressed gratitude to the divisional and district administrations, the Director General of Police, staff deputed by the General Administration Department, monitoring squads, and college authorities for their support in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination.
