JKAS Officer Abdul Rashid Ganaie Assumes Charge As ACD Kupwara

Kupwara, May 04: Abdul Rashid Ganaie (JKAS) on Monday assumed charge as Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kupwara.

Soon after taking over, Ganaie underscored his commitment to strengthening rural development initiatives and ensuring effective implementation of government schemes at the grassroots level. He stressed the need for transparency, accountability, and timely execution of developmental works across the district.

Officials of the Rural Development Department welcomed the officer and assured full cooperation in achieving developmental targets. Ganaie is expected to focus on expediting ongoing projects, improving public service delivery, and addressing key issues concerning rural areas of Kupwara.

Residents have expressed optimism over his posting, voicing hope that his tenure will bring greater efficiency in administrative functioning and smoother delivery of services.

Ganaie’s appointment assumes significance as multiple development programmes are underway in the district, with expectations of improved outcomes under his leadership.
