
SRINAGAR: Nayeem Ahmed Bhat, a contractual Assistant Professor at the University of Kashmir’s School of Law, has authored his debut book, “Codifying Labour Welfare: An Analysis of India’s New Labour Regime.”
Published by Crestwood Publishers, the book examines India’s shift toward a codified labour framework, focusing on the intersection of legal reforms, policy changes, and labour welfare. It also includes insights from legal scholars and experts across the country.
An alumnus of the University of Kashmir, Bhat has completed his LLB, LLM, and PhD there and has qualified the All India Bar Examination and UGC NET/JRF. He has previously taught at the Central University of Kashmir, Vitasta College of Law and Humanities, and SGT University.
The book is expected to be a useful resource for students, practitioners, and policymakers. It will be available soon on Amazon and other platforms.
