SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JK BOPEE) on Sunday successfully conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for B-Pharmacy and D-Pharmacy courses for the academic session 2026–27 at centres in Jammu and Srinagar.

The examination was held simultaneously at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, and Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, with 1,684 candidates appearing from across Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials said comprehensive arrangements were put in place in coordination with the concerned institutions and law enforcement agencies to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination. The process was conducted under the overall supervision of BOPEE Chairperson Professor Minu Mahajan.

They said the examination concluded peacefully at both centres without any report of untoward incident or use of unfair means.

BOPEE Chairperson, along with members, the Secretary, the Controller of Examinations and other officials, monitored the proceedings at both venues. The Board acknowledged the support of the participating institutions and district administrations, including staff deployed under the supervision of the respective Deputy Commissioners, for ensuring the smooth conduct of the entrance test.
