Body of missing Ganderbal man recovered from nallah Sindh after 13-day search

Ganderbal, May 08: The body of a man who had been missing for the past 13 days was recovered from Nallah Sindh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said on Friday.

They told Alfaaz – The Words, that the deceased identified as Muneer Ahmad Shah, son of Mehboob Shah and a resident of Wussan, Ganderbal, had reportedly been missing since April 25, 2026.

Officials said the body was retrieved by a team of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) from Nallah Sindh at Bela Wussan after sustained search efforts.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the matter and further proceedings have been initiated in this regard.
