Man Dies by Suicide in South Kashmir

SRINAGAR: A man allegedly ended his life by hanging himself at his residence in Sadura area of Anantnag district on Thursday evening.

An official said that the deceased has been identified as Ashiq Hussain Malik, son of Gh Hassan Malik, resident of Sadura. Sources said he was found hanging at his home, prompting immediate action by the police.

Police reached the spot and shifted the body to a medical facility for medico-legal formalities. Authorities have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. (KNC)
