ICMR RMRC Notification Out For Consultant And Young Professional Posts

ICMR–Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC), Gorakhpur has invited applications from candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria for contractual positions of Consultant and Young Professional–II. This recruitment will support ongoing research and institutional operations at the centre. All positions are temporary and purely on contract basis.

As per the official notification released on 19 June 2025, there are a total of 6 posts available under this engagement. The maximum age for applicants is 70 years for consultant roles and 40 years for Young Professionals. The monthly remuneration ranges from ₹42,000 to ₹1,80,000 depending on the post.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.

For Consultant (Scientific – Medical): MBBS, BDS, BVSc or equivalent with at least 10 years of experience, or retired Govt. officers from Level-10 or above with relevant experience.
For Consultant (Scientific – Non-Medical): M.Sc, B.Tech, BE, MCA, MPH, BAMS, BSMS, or MD in AYUSH with 10 years of experience.
For Consultant (Technical – Non-Medical): B.Tech/BE in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience.
For Young Professional-II (Scientific): Postgraduate in Life Sciences/Pharmacy/Statistics/Sociology/AYUSH with at least 55% and 1 year of experience.
For Young Professional-II (Admin): Postgraduate in any discipline with minimum 55% and 1 year of experience.
For Young Professional-II (Finance & Accounts): M.Com or MBA (minimum 55%) or Inter CA/ICWA/CS with 1 year experience.
For Young Professional-II (Legal): Law graduate with 2 years of relevant experience and Bar Council registration.

Age limit for Consultants is 40 to 70 years. For Young Professional-II posts, the maximum age is 40 years.
