SKUAST Kashmir JRF Post 2025 – Apply For Junior Research Fellow Position Under ANRF Sponsored Project

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) of Kashmir has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a sponsored project under the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India. The selected candidate will work on the research project titled “Development of Frequency-Diverse Microwave Imaging System for Dielectric Contrast Mapping in Agriculture Applications” under the Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.

As per the official advertisement, the position is initially for a period of one year and may be extended for up to two more years based on performance or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The application process is completely online and will remain open until 10 July 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant must have a first-class M.Sc./M.Tech in Electronics, ECE, or an allied discipline. Qualification in NET, GATE, or any other accredited test is mandatory. However, in case of non-availability or unsuitability of NET/GATE qualified candidates, non-NET/GATE applicants may be considered with lower emoluments as per the funding agency rules.

Desirable experience includes prior work with antennas, microwave circuits, and simulations, along with programming knowledge in MATLAB, Python, or an equivalent platform.
