Search Operation Launched After Drowning Incident in South Kashmir Nallah | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A search and rescue operation was launched on Thursday after an individual reportedly drowned in a nallah in the Reshnagri area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Officials said the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) component Shopian initiated the operation soon after reports emerged that a local resident had drowned.

The missing person has been identified as Imran Ahmad Doya, son of Mohammad Aslam Doya, a resident of Sedew, Shopian.

Rescue teams are continuing search operations in the area to trace the individual. Further details regarding the incident are awaited.
