Govt Announces Summer Break for Colleges in Jammu’s Summer Zone | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Sakeena Itoo, who holds the portfolios of Education, Higher Education, Health and Medical Education, and Social Welfare, has announced summer vacations for all government and private colleges in the Summer Zone of Jammu Division.

According to the announcement made on social media platform X, the colleges will remain closed from June 1 to July 15, 2026. The decision has been taken in view of the prevailing summer conditions and to ensure the well-being of students and staff.

The Minister extended her best wishes to students, teaching faculty, and college employees for a safe, healthy, and productive break. Academic activities in the institutions are scheduled to resume after the vacation period.
