India Has Enough Petrol, Diesel And LPG Stocks, Says Sujata Sharma In Delhi

MoPNG Joint Secy Sujata Sharma assured that India’s fuel supply system remains stable despite global energy supply disruptions and rising international price volatility. Speaking in Delhi, she said the government has taken multiple effective measures to ensure uninterrupted availability of petrol, diesel, LPG, and natural gas across the country. Sharma stated that crude inventories are secure, refineries are operating at optimum levels, and no fuel retail outlet or LPG distributorship has reported any dry-out situation. She also highlighted increased LPG deliveries, PNG expansion, enforcement raids against irregularities, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to citizens to conserve fuel through metro use, carpooling, public transport, rail freight, and electric vehicles.
