
SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday inaugurated the National Youth Festival in Srinagar, describing the event as a platform reflecting a renewed vision of empowerment and leadership for the country’s youth.
Addressing participants at the inaugural session, the Lieutenant Governor said the theme “Rise, Shine and Conquer” represents a broader vision for India’s future and underlines the role of young people in achieving the goal of a developed nation by 2047.
He said the festival signifies the growing importance of youth leadership in national progress and asserted that the younger generation would play a defining role in shaping the country’s future.
Referring to the “Young Leaders Dialogue” organised during the festival, Sinha said the initiative would help create a framework for the next phase of India’s growth and cultural legacy.
He also urged young people to actively contribute towards innovation, leadership, nation-building and social development, saying their ideas and energy are vital for the country’s advancement.
