Jammu Kashmir Govt Assigns Additional Charges to Four Finance Officers | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the assignment of additional charges to four officers in the Finance Department to ensure smooth functioning of administrative operations.

According to Government Order No. 63-F of 2026 dated April 9, the following arrangements have been made with immediate effect:

Ashu Behl, FA/CAO, MD Office, JPDCL Jammu, has been given additional charge of the post of Chief Pay and Accounts Officer in the office of the Chief Engineer, JPDCL Jammu, till the return of Shiwani Bhan from leave.

Poonam Makhnotra, FA/CPEAO, JKPDCL Jammu, will hold the additional charge of Chief Accounts Officer, Relief Organization (Migrant), Jammu, also till Shiwani Bhan resumes duties.

Mohit Thapa, Accounts Officer in the Directorate of Geology and Mining, has been assigned to look after accounts-related work in the Directorate of Employment/Mission Yuva in addition to his existing responsibilities, till further orders.

Asif Masood Khan, In-charge Accounts Officer in the office of Deputy Director Audit and Inspections Kashmir, has been given additional charge as Accounts Officer, JKPCC Ltd Srinagar, in addition to his current duties, till further orders.

The order, issued by the Finance Department, stated that the arrangements have been made in the interest of administration to ensure continuity in financial and accounting functions.
