Decomposed Body Found in South Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An unidentified decomposed dead body was found in Nalla Arpath at Thajiwara area of Achabal in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

Officials said that soon after receiving information, a team from Achabal Police rushed to the spot and took cognizance of the matter.

The body, believed to be in a decomposed state, was recovered from the stream, and necessary medico-legal formalities have been initiated.

Meanwhile Police have started an investigation to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the circumstances leading to the death. (KNC)
