Soldier Dies While Performing Duty on LoC in Jammu Kashmir  | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An Indian Army soldier died after being found unconscious while performing duty along the Line of Control in the Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district, officials said.

Officials said that the soldier, identified as Naik Tilak Singh, was found unconscious while on duty on March 15.

He was immediately provided medical assistance, but despite efforts by medical personnel, he could not be revived and was declared dead, they said.

The Army paid tribute to the soldier, stating that his courage and dedication to duty reflected the finest traditions of the Indian Army. (KNC)
