National Hydroelectric Power Corporation has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for Trainee Engineer posts. The notification was issued under Advertisement No. NH/Rectt./02/2026.

A total of 72 vacancies have been announced for Trainee Engineer positions in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical disciplines. Candidates who have completed B.E or B.Tech in the relevant field and meet the eligibility requirements can apply online. Salary

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 3% – 1,60,000 (IDA) during the one year training period. After successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed as Engineer or Officer in the same scale with probation of one year.

The total annual emoluments for the new joinee will be approximately Rs. 15 to 16 lakh. Other benefits include Dearness Allowance, HRA, Cafeteria Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Facility, PF, Pension and Gratuity as per company rules.
