Srinagar Police Activate Emergency Helplines Amid Inclement Weather | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Srinagar Police on Tuesday activated district-wide 24×7 emergency helpline services in view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions and forecasts predicting further deterioration.

Officials said the move aims to ensure the safety and well-being of the general public and to provide immediate assistance during emergencies arising from adverse weather. The helpline services have been made operational across Srinagar district to strengthen response mechanisms and enable timely intervention in distress situations.

According to police, the Police Control Room (PCR), Srinagar, can be contacted through landline numbers 0194-2477567 and 0194-2477568, while mobile helpline numbers 9596222550 and 9596222551 have also been activated for round-the-clock assistance.

To ensure effective coordination at senior levels, Srinagar Police has also released contact numbers of senior officers. These include SSP Srinagar on 9596770502, SP Headquarters Srinagar on 9596770503, Dy SP Headquarters on 9596770518, Dy SP DAR on 9596770534, SP City East on 9596770507, SP City West on 9596770505, SP City North on 9596770508, SP City South on 9596770504, and SP City Hazratbal on 9596770506.
