NC’s Showkat Mir urges Govt to ensure adequate facilities, ration supply during winter

Srinagar, Nov 13: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President Kashmir Showkat Ahmad Mir Thurssday urged the elected government led by Omar Abdullah to continue its good work in ensuring uninterrupted essential services and adequate ration supplies to the people as the region braces for the upcoming harsh winter months.

In a statement issued here today, Mir appreciated the efforts made by the administration in maintaining public services and responding to people’s needs.

However, he emphasized the need for proactive measures to address challenges that often arise during winter, including power outages, water scarcity, shortages of essential commodities, and disruptions in road connectivity.
