Congress will support us in Rajya Sabha polls: Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, Oct 23: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president Farooq Abdullah Thursday Congress’s backing in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.

Speaking to media persons, Abdullah as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said, “Congress is with us and they are supporting us in the Rajya Sabha elections.”

On Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s recent remarks on Halal certification, he remarked: “India believes in unity in diversity and till we maintain diversity, India will strengthen. No one stays in power forever; a time will come when they will be removed from power.” (KNC)
