55-Year-Old Woman Found Dead in Srinagar | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A 55-year-old woman from Kargil was found dead on Monday after she was discovered unconscious at a rented accommodation in Srinagar, officials said.

Officials said that the deceased, identified as Fatima Banu, wife of Abdullah and a resident of Sankoo, Kargil, was staying in a rented room in the Kaksarai area of Srinagar.

They said the woman, aged around 55 years, was rushed to SMHS Hospital by locals and family members in an unconscious state, where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigations are underway to determine the cause of death. (JKNS)
