University Of Jammu Young Professional Vacancies At CITESM For Senior Project Engineer Posts

The University of Jammu hasinvited applications in the prescribed format for Young Professionals at the Centre for IT Enabled Services and Management (CITESM). These posts are offered on a contract basis for one year, extendable by up to two more years depending on satisfactory performance.

As per Notification No. CIT/JU/2025/1769-75 dated 14.08.2025, two vacancies are available: Senior Project Engineer in Software Development and Senior Project Engineer in ICT Infrastructure Administration. The monthly remuneration for each position is Rs. 70,000. Candidates will be appointed full-time and will not be allowed to take up other assignments during their tenure.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Senior Project Engineer (Software Development), candidates must have M.Tech/M.E./M.S. in Computer Science/IT with 55% marks and at least three years of relevant experience; or B.Tech/B.E. in the same fields with five years of experience; or M.Sc. (CS/IT) or MCA with five years of relevant experience. Desired skills include full-stack web development, programming in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, knowledge of frameworks, CMS, database technologies, and web servers.

For Senior Project Engineer (ICT Infrastructure Administration), the educational qualifications are the same as above with relevant experience in server management, virtualization, network security tools, routing, switching, cloud technologies, storage systems, and disaster recovery solutions.
