Appeals people to extend every possible support to ongoing Nasha Mukt campaign

Srinagar, April 22: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Wednesday urged the government “to consider reopening all tourist destinations across J&K that were closed following the heinous terror attack in Pahalgam last year.”
He said that, “with the situation having improved in terms of peace and normalcy, the government must initiate all necessary steps to further strengthen the atmosphere of stability.”
He added that “several sections of society, whose livelihoods depend on tourism, continue to suffer due to the continued closure of these destinations, Including Baisaran, Pahalgam, Doodhpathri, Sonamarg, Yusmarg, Kokernag, Verinag, Tosamaidan, and other locations.”
Meanwhile, the Apni Party President appealed to the people to extend every possible support to the ongoing Nasha Mukt campaign, which was recently launched by the LG Administration.
He said, “the drug menace has severely harmed society and is causing irreparable damage to the younger generation.”
He stressed that “it is the collective responsibility of all to take every necessary step to eliminate this menace from society.”
He made these remarks today in an event organised at the party headquarters in Srinagar. The event was aimed at welcoming new entrants into the party.
Those who joined the party included Arif Sultan, Nazir Ahmad Bhat, Showkat Ahmed Mir, Ghulam Mohammad Hajam, Abdul Arshid Wani, and others. All these joinees belong to the Shivpora area of the Lal Chowk Constituency.
Besides Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, the prominent party is who were present on this occasion included the party’s General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, District President Srinagar Mohammad Shafi Mir, Vice President Srinagar & Constituency In-charge Habba Kadal Jeelani Hamid Kumar, Mohd Hanif Bhat, and others.
