Srinagar, April 20: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in an accident in Udhampur.
Pertinently, at least 20 people were killed and 30 others injured after a passenger bus travelling from Ramnagar to Udhampur skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge this morning.
In a statement issued here, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said: “I am deeply shocked and saddened to learn that more than 20 people have lost their lives and several others have been severely injured in a tragic road accident at Kagort village in Ramnagar, Udhampur, after a passenger bus skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge. This is a heartbreaking tragedy.”
He further said, “My deepest sympathies go out to all those who have lost their loved ones in this unfortunate incident. I pray for the speedy recovery of those who have been injured.”
