Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir has released the admission notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for Undergraduate Degree Programmes for the Academic Session 2026-27. The admission is open for domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, NRI-sponsored and Other States candidates.

General Conditions for Admission

Minimum marks required in 10+2 examination are as follows:

Minimum 50 percent marks for Open Merit candidates and 40 percent marks for reserved category candidates for domiciles of UT of J&K.
Minimum aggregate marks of 40 percent for NRI-sponsored and Other States category candidates seeking admission in BVSc & AH, B.FSc (Agriculture), B.Tech Agriculture Degree programmes.
Minimum aggregate marks of 40 percent in 10+2 examination for candidates seeking admission under NRI-sponsored and Other States category in other programmes except specified ones.
Minimum age of 17 years and maximum age of 28 years as on 31 December 2026.
Candidates who have appeared or are likely to appear in 10+2 examination can also apply.
