
SRINAGAR: A single-storey residential house was completely gutted in a fire incident in the Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday evening.
Reports said the blaze broke out in the residential structure and spread rapidly, engulfing the entire house before it could be brought under control. The property, belonging to Ab Ahad Tantry of Raipora Hajam Mohalla in Palhallan, sustained extensive damage.
Fire and emergency services personnel, along with locals, rushed to the spot and managed to extinguish the flames, preventing them from spreading to nearby houses.
No loss of life or injuries were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire was not immediately known and is expected to be ascertained.
