JKACP conducts first Continuing Medical Education programme

The half-day academic programme witnessed active participation from pulmonologists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals from across the region. Members of JKACP also attended the CME in large numbers, reflecting strong professional engagement and academic interest, said a press release.

The highlight of the event was an enlightening lecture by Dr Harjit Dumra, Senior Consultant in Pulmonology & Critical Care, Ahmedabad, on the topic “IPAF: Challenges in Diagnosis & Management”. The session provided valuable insights into evolving diagnostic and management approaches in interstitial lung diseases. This was followed by an engaging panel discussion featuring eminent experts including Dr. Suraya Farooq, Dr. Suhail Mushtaq, and Dr. Imran Salroo, with moderation by Dr. Tajamul Hussain, fostering meaningful academic exchange.

Another important session titled “SNTT – Current Standing in COPD” was delivered by Dr. Rhitk, followed by a panel discussion involving Dr. Syed Mudasir Qadri and Dr. Mohammad Yousuf, and moderated by Dr. Shumail Bashir.On the occasion all distinguished speakers, panelists, moderators were felicitated. The CME was organised by Dr Mir Faisal , Dr Naveed Nazir Shah And Dr Naeem Firdous on behalf of JKACP. The association has reiterated its commitment to promoting continuous medical education and strengthening academic collaboration among healthcare professionals, and looks forward to organizing more such initiatives in the future.
