Jammu Kashmir: Govt Orders Transfer and Posting of IAS, JKAS Officers | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday ordered the immediate transfer and posting of two officers as part of an administrative reshuffle in the Union Territory.

According to Government Order No. 1019-JK(GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department, Pranjal J Hazarika, IAS, presently serving as Additional Secretary to the Government in the Labour and Employment Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Baramulla against an available vacancy.

The order further stated that Vishavjeet Singh, JKAS, who was awaiting posting orders in the General Administration Department, has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Billawar.

He replaces Vinay Khosla, JKAS, who has been directed to await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.
