
SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations) on Saturday conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for Post Basic BSc Nursing Courses for the 2026–27 academic session across designated centres in Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said the examination was held at Government Women’s College, MA Road, Srinagar in the Kashmir division and Government SPMR Commerce College in Jammu, with 1,161 candidates appearing out of 1,238 registered applicants.
The examination process was conducted under the supervision of BOPEE Chairperson Professor Minu Mahajan, with arrangements made in coordination with college administrations and law enforcement agencies to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the test.
Officials said no untoward incident or malpractice was reported during the examination, which remained peaceful at both centres.
BOPEE officials, including the Chairperson, members, Secretary and Controller of Examinations, monitored the conduct of the test at both Srinagar and Jammu centres. The Board also expressed gratitude to the staff of the respective institutions and district administration officials for ensuring orderly arrangements and smooth conduct of the examination.
