Junior Research Fellow (JRF)	M.Sc in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Space Physics, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology or Planetary Sciences OR M.S / M.E / M.Tech in Atmospheric Science, Space Science, Planetary Science, Applied Physics or Engineering Physics with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.5	Maximum 28 years for General, 31 years for OBC, 33 years for SC/ST

Mandatory Qualification:

Candidates must qualify in any one of the following:

CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET)
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)
Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST)

Fellowship Details

Selection Process of ISRO VSSC JRF Recruitment 2026

Selection of candidates will be done in the following stages:

Initial Screening
Applications will be screened based on academic performance and GATE, NET or JEST scores.

Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram.

Final Selection
Final selection will be based on performance in the interview.
