SRINAGAR: The Jammu Kashmir Hajj Committee has announced that the first Haj flights for 2026 will depart from the Srinagar embarkation point beginning April 18, formally initiating this year’s pilgrimage operations from the Union Territory.

As per the notification, three flights have been scheduled on the opening day, with specific reporting timings issued for pilgrims at Haj House, Bemina in Srinagar. Passengers of flight QP-7521 are required to report between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM, those travelling on QP-7520 between 8:15 AM and 8:45 AM, and QP-7519 pilgrims between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM.

Authorities have directed pilgrims to strictly adhere to these time slots to ensure smooth embarkation procedures. They have also been instructed to carry essential documents, including original passports, visa copies, and valid health or vaccination certificates.

The advisory further states that only standard baggage will be allowed, and pilgrims must comply with airline regulations by avoiding any prohibited or restricted items in their luggage.

Officials added that schedules for the remaining batches of pilgrims will be issued separately.
