VDG member dies by suicide in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Sept 20: A Village Defence Guard (VDG) member allegedly shot himself dead with his personal weapon in Kishtwar district on Saturday.

Officials said that the deceased has been identified as Tek Chand, 38, son of Prem Chand, resident of Akra Kuntwara area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kishtwar.

Soon after the incident, police reached the spot and initiated proceedings. —(KNC)
