Water crisis hits Hyderpora areas

Srinagar, Sep 7: Residents of the Hyderpora areas have been grappling with an acute shortage of drinking water for the last several days.

“We are facing a severe shortage of drinking water. The Water Works Division Srinagar has miserably failed to provide a bare minimum water supply to the consumers,” said residents of Green Avenue and Ibrahim Colony.

The residents also decried poor water tanker service. They appealed to Chief Engineer PHE to look into the matter and direct the restoration of the water supply.
