Anantnag Floods: Municipal Council Orders Urgent Sanitation, Fumigation

SRINAGAR: In the aftermath of the recent floods, the Municipal Council Anantnag issued strict directions for sanitation and cleanliness measures across the town.

An order issued by Municipal committee Anantnag reads, the order directs all sanitation staff to continue their duties on Sunday to ensure uninterrupted services.

It further instructs that silt removal from all pending areas must be completed without delay, while garbage and other waste shall be lifted from the entire town to restore cleanliness.

All flood-affected areas will be properly fumigated to prevent the outbreak of diseases. These measures come in addition to routine sanitation work. (KNC)
