Rabi-ul-Awwal Moon Not Sighted; Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) on Sept 6 – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: Referring to an earlier report published regarding the commencement of Rabi-ul-Awwal 1447 Hijri, it is clarified that the crescent was not sighted on Sunday evening, as per the official announcement of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.

Consequently, the first day of Rabi-ul-Awwal will now be observed on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, instead of Monday, August 25, as reported earlier. Accordingly, Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) will fall on Saturday, September 6, 2025, not on Friday, September 5.

The earlier report is regretted, and readers are requested to note the revised dates as per the official announcement.
