17-Year-Old Dies by Suicide in North Kashmir

SRINAGAR: A 17-year-old boy was found dead at his home in Haigam area of north Kashmir’s Sopore on Monday.

Officials said that the boy was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased has been identified as Huzaif Ahmad (17), son of Abdul Lateef Ratjer, resident of Haigam, Sopore.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up. (GNS)
